This reciprocating saw for wood and soft materials is built for high-efficiency cutting across various construction applications. It delivers enough power to cut wooden beams up to 200 mm thick, while also being ideal for shaping wooden structures, cutting gas silicates, and handling thin-walled metal pipes with precision.
The ergonomic design features a rubber-coated gear housing and a non-slip main handle, ensuring a firm grip with both hands. The trigger switch is optimally placed and includes a safety lock, enabling intuitive control and preventing accidental starts. You can comfortably activate it using either your index and middle fingers or thumb and index.
The integrated variable speed controller allows slow and precise starts, while the tool-free rotating blade change mechanism ensures quick replacement of worn blades. The adjustable saw stop also requires no tools, enhancing control during deep cuts.
An LED work light, built into the saw body, improves visibility in low-light conditions. Meanwhile, the microswitch-controlled battery charge indicator helps monitor battery status independently from other tools. The saw is compatible with all 18V HERMAN batteries, allowing maximum system flexibility.
The light alloy gearbox reduces the overall weight of the tool without sacrificing durability. To protect the motor, the saw includes an electronic brake, overload protection, and self-disconnecting carbon brushes. Special air inlets and an anti-dust cooling system further extend service life by reducing internal contamination.
