Flap disc HERMAN T2 125mm | P80 | corundum

This corundum flap disc for surface grinding is designed for efficient material removal on medium-hard ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It features a T29 conical backing pad with radially arranged lamellae, increasing the contact area during grinding. As a result, you benefit from faster, more controlled surface coverage.

Each flap measures 35 mm in width and is made from X-heavy cotton-backed aluminum oxide belts (industrially produced corundum). Thanks to this composition, the disc provides high durability and strong cutting performance across a wide range of grinding tasks.

Moreover, we machine-cut each flap and place it with ±0.5 mm precision, ensuring optimal balance and even wear. A 7-layer fiberglass support plate reinforces the disc, maintaining structural stability even during heavy use. To secure the flaps, we use a high-strength epoxy resin adhesive that withstands both heat and mechanical load.

In addition, the flap density has been refined through long-term testing. The result is a versatile disc that performs equally well in coarse grinding and fine finishing, depending on the selected grit.

Use this disc at a 15˚–25˚ angle with a 125 mm angle grinder for optimal surface contact and smooth results.
